Don't miss a soaring symphonic tribute to the one and only Aretha Franklin
You're invited to the electrifying celebration and tribute to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin. With soaring orchestral arrangements of hits like Respect, Think and Natural Woman taking you on the ultimate journey through her life, love, tragedy and triumph. With five decades of Franklin, this masterful piece of storytelling just can't be missed.
Growing up in the embrace of the Church with a reverend for a father, Aretha sang gospel from a young age and never forgot these roots. Making her first recordings at the tender age of fourteen, the prodigious songstress was chased by Motown when it was just starting up, but ultimately wound up signing with Columbia records. The rest, as they say, is platinum-certified history - the icon ruled the late 60s with hit after constant hit, continuing to rule the charts well into the 70s and 80s, and remains one of the most celebrated female vocalists of all time.
